History

It all started in 1942 when Abdelhady El Chourbagui founded El Chourbagui Textiles as a local yarn trader in a small office space in Al Azhar. But many years later his son Mohamed El Chourbagui found his passion elsewhere and pivoted into the apparel fabric trading industry in 1964. And after years of experience, persistence, and proving ourselves as a forward-thinking business which gained the trust of the local market, we were able to expand our market share and differentiate ourselves as one of the market leaders. As we continued to grow in size, we saw the need to be more sustainable and self-dependent from our suppliers. As a result, in 2012 we built a state-of-the-art textile printing, dyeing, and finishing plant in 10th of Ramadan City spanning over 15,000 m2 equipped with the most well-known, top of the line European machinery. We take pride in being driven and specialized in providing the highest quality textile products and services across Egypt. Our new factory allowed us to offer the highest quality and consistent printing, dyeing, and finishing services for our own products and for our other clients in the industry. As of 2020 we are currently expanding our factory with a 12,000 m2 extension to feature all new machinery to double our manufacturing capacity and meet our ever-increasing demand from both local and international markets.
